1️⃣ Understanding Honorifics in Tamil
In Tamil, the way you speak depends on whom you are talking to. There are three main levels of politeness:
1️⃣ Casual/Informal (நண்பகத்திலான பேச்சு) – Used with close friends, younger people, or children.
2️⃣ Polite/Respectful (மரியாதை பேச்சு) – Used with elders, teachers, strangers, and superiors.
3️⃣ Highly Formal (மிகுந்த மரியாதை) – Used in official settings, speeches, or addressing VIPs.

4️⃣ Highly Formal Speech in Tamil
In very formal or respectful situations, Tamil uses elegant phrasing and indirect speech.
📌 Example 1:
✅ Normal: “Give me the report.” →
அந்த அறிக்கையை எனக்கு கொடுங்கள். (antha aRikkaiyai enakku koDungaL)
✅ Highly Formal: “May I kindly receive the report?” →
அந்த அறிக்கையை எனக்குக் கிடைக்குமா? (antha aRikkaiyai enakku kiDaikkumA?)

✅ Normal: “Tell me your opinion.” →
உங்கள் கருத்தை சொல்லுங்கள். (ungaL karuththai sollungaL)
✅ Highly Formal: “I would like to hear your esteemed opinion.” →
உங்கள் மதிப்புமிகு கருத்தை கேட்க விரும்புகிறேன். (ungaL mathippumigu karuththai kEtka virumbugiREn)

Rewrite the sentences in respectful Tamil.

- இங்கே வா. (Come here.)

- அவன் தமிழில் பேசுகிறான். (He speaks Tamil.)
